SoPac Trail Tree Planting

As a result of your exceptional support during North Texas Giving Day, we’ve been hard at work bringing new improvements to the SoPac Trail! Thanks to the generous contributions, we installed an irrigation system to support the planting of 7 new oak trees. These trees will provide much-needed shade and enhance the beauty of the trail for years to come.

In partnership with the Texas Tree Foundation and Dallas Park and Recreation, we will be planting 2 Chinquapin Oaks, 2 Monterrey Oaks, 2 Shumard Oaks, and a Bur Oak across from the SoPac Respite, between the SoPac Trail and Fisher Rd.

If you'd like to get involved, join us for the SoPac Trail Tree Planting THIS Saturday at 9:00 AM! It’s a great opportunity for the whole family—bring the kids and make a day of it!

Don't forget to BYOSG (Bring Your Own Shovel & Gloves) and come ready to dig in! We look forward to seeing you there!
