North Texas Giving Day
This year, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, Friends of the SoPac Trail is participating in Communities Foundation of Texas' NTX Giving Day, an online giving extravaganza for our whole region. We're raising funds to support our mission of bringing people closer to nature, improving the trail, and making the experience a breath of fresh air for walkers, runners, and cyclists. NTX Giving Day funds will aid our work in the following areas and your gift helps make the following projects possible:
Adding location signs to the trail
Continuing graffiti paint-overs
Adding irrigation and planting additional trees
Creating a wildflower areas
Adding a respite area and repair station for cyclists
Tending the Pollinator Garden, including fertilizer, topsoil and mulch
Hosting another neighborhood Garden Party
During the entire month of September prior to NTX Giving Day, you can make your gift early through Early Giving! The platform makes it simple and easy to give! Between now and September 21st, you can make your gift online.
